Seedance 2.5 AI Video Generator

# We Stopped Chasing More AI Features and Started Simplifying the Workflow When we first started working on Seedance 2.5, we thought the roadmap was obvious. More controls. More settings. More customization. Like many founders, we assumed adding features would make the product better. After talking with users, we realized we were solving the wrong problem. What We Learned Most people weren't asking for more options. They wanted to create a usable video faster. A product demo. A social media clip. A quick concept for a presentation. The biggest frustration wasn't video quality. It was the time between having an idea and getting a first draft. What Changed Instead of adding more controls, we started simplifying the workflow. Our recent changes have focused on: Starting from a text prompt or reference image Reducing unnecessary setup before generation Making it easier to compare different prompt iterations Helping users reach a usable first draft faster It sounds simple, but removing steps has often been more valuable than adding new ones. Something That Surprised Us One unexpected observation was that many users kept rewriting prompts from scratch. When we watched how they worked, we noticed they often got better results by reusing an existing prompt and changing only one element at a time. That small workflow change seemed to improve consistency much more than constantly writing new prompts. What We're Building Seedance 2.5 is an AI video generation platform designed to help creators generate videos from text prompts or reference images. Our goal isn't to replace professional editing software. We're trying to reduce the time it takes to move from an idea to a usable first version. Looking for Feedback I'd love to hear from other founders and creators. What's the biggest bottleneck in your creative workflow? Have you removed a feature that actually improved your product? If you build AI products, what do your users struggle with most? We're still iterating, and honest feedback is always more valuable than feature requests. Thanks for reading.
