Verified Accounts
The verified checkmark helps you identify accounts that have been verified by Founders Today.
Verification is designed to make it easier to recognize established and authentic founder accounts, especially as more founders, builders, and products join the platform.
What does the verified checkmark mean?
- A verified account has been reviewed and confirmed by Founders Today as meeting our verification requirements.
- The checkmark appears next to the account name so you can quickly recognize that the account has been verified.
- Verification may help you understand that you are interacting with the founder or account represented by the profile, rather than an account simply using a similar name.
What does verification include?
Depending on the account and the information available to us, our verification process may consider things such as:
- The authenticity of the founder or account
- Ownership or association with a product, company, or professional identity
- Information provided during the verification process
- The account's activity and presence on Founders Today
- Other information we may reasonably use to confirm authenticity
Verification is granted at the discretion of Founders Today and may be reviewed again when necessary.
What verification does not mean
- A verified checkmark does not mean that Founders Today endorses everything an account says, creates, or promotes.
- It also does not guarantee the quality, success, performance, or claims of a founder, company, or product.
- The checkmark simply indicates that the account has been verified according to Founders Today's verification process.
Can verification be removed?
Yes. Founders Today may remove verification if an account no longer meets the requirements, provides misleading information, violates our rules, or if we determine that verification should no longer apply.

Founders Today is built around real people building real products.
As the platform grows, verification gives founders another way to establish trust around their identity and helps members distinguish verified accounts from unverified ones.
