From the very beginning, Founders Today had one simple idea behind it: create a place where founders could launch their products and get feedback, support and visibility from other founders and builders. That was the culture we wanted to build. But as Founders Today continued to grow, we started seeing something change. Every Monday, new products launch and compete for Product of the Day. Naturally, founders began sharing their launches with their external audiences to get support. The problem was that many of those audiences were not founders. People were joining Founders Today simply because they wanted to support a friend, colleague or product they believed in. They didn't necessarily understand the founder ecosystem, and in many cases, they had no reason to complete a founder-focused onboarding experience or participate in founder activities. This created a difficult question for us: How do we allow founders to bring their audience without changing the founder-first culture we have been building? Today, we believe we have solved that. Introducing Network Lists and Network Mode A Network List gives founders a new way to invite people who are not founders to Founders Today. Instead of sharing your product directly with a broad audience and expecting everyone to enter as a founder, you can now create a Network List specifically for your product. The process is simple: Head to the Network List page in your account. Create a Network List and select the product you want your audience to support. Create your Network and copy your unique Network URL. That's it. You can now share that link across your social media, community, newsletter, customers, friends and wider audience. When someone opens your Network List, they'll see the product connected to it and can engage with it. If they join Founders Today through your Network, they will participate through Network Mode rather than Founder Mode. They will still use the same Founders Today platform, but their experience is designed around discovering, supporting and engaging. They can support products, upvote, comment, bookmark and participate. Want to communicate with your Network? Head over to Create a Post and select the Update category. Updates allow you to share news, progress and important announcements with people in your Network. Network members can leave at any time. When should you use a Network List? Use a Network List when sharing your launch with a broad audience that may include people who are not founders. If you're sharing with founders, builders, founder friends or your professional founder network, you can safely share your direct product link. The simple idea is: Share the right link with the right audience. Direct Product Link for founder audiences. Network List for broader audiences. Founders no longer have to limit who they invite. Bring your audience. We now have room for everyone.
