Would You Turn Down $2.5M for a Business You Built?

Marc Lou just shared that he received a $2.5M all-cash offer for TrustMRR.com.
Interestingly, this isn't his first offer. He previously turned down $1M, then $1.2M, because he wasn't ready to sell.
His biggest concern wasn't really the money. He had been working for himself for over 8 years and didn't like the idea of staying onboard for a few months after an acquisition.
Meanwhile, TrustMRR was starting to grow organically. Around 30 startups were being listed daily, 10 times more than when the marketplace launched. It was also generating revenue through a 3% finder's fee, with roughly one acquisition happening daily.
Now someone has come back with $2.5M, all cash.
Honestly, this is an interesting position to be in. Building something from scratch and watching it gain traction makes selling a lot harder, especially when you start seeing what it could become.
But $2.5M is also life-changing money.
Would you take the money and move on, or keep building something you believe could become much bigger?
