Top 5 Claude connectors every indie hacker and vibe coder should have ( My recommendation )

If you're an indie hacker or vibe coder building with Claude Code, I personally think these are five connectors worth having.
One thing I don't like is constantly switching between Claude and my browser just to give it website content, inspect a page, research competitors or understand how another product works.
These connectors help solve that. They give Claude different ways to read websites, crawl pages and interact with browsers.
Here are my picks:
1. Firecrawl MCP
https://github.com/firecrawl/firecrawl-mcp-server
Why I picked it: Firecrawl is one of the most useful options for turning websites into content Claude can actually understand.
How I use it: When I need Claude to inspect a competitor's website, read landing pages, extract pricing information or crawl multiple pages, this is the kind of connector I'd reach for.
My honest pick: Probably my first choice for website research and extracting content at scale.
2. Playwright MCP
https://github.com/microsoft/playwright-mcp
Why I picked it: Sometimes reading a website isn't enough. You need Claude to actually interact with it.
How I use it: Navigating pages, clicking buttons, filling forms, testing websites and inspecting elements. Particularly useful when building and testing web applications.
My honest pick: If you're building products with Claude Code, this is almost a must-have.
3. Claude in Chrome
https://code.claude.com/docs/en/chrome
Why I picked it: This one is interesting because Claude can use your actual Chrome browser and its existing login sessions.
How I use it: Researching websites, inspecting authenticated web apps and navigating pages without constantly copying information into my terminal.
My honest pick: One of the most convenient options if you already work inside Chrome.
4. Browserbase MCP
https://github.com/browserbase/mcp-server-browserbase
**Why I picked it: **Not every browsing task needs to run inside your local browser. Sometimes you want a browser running in the cloud.
How I use it: Automating website navigation, extracting information and running browser workflows without depending on my local browser session.
My honest pick: Worth looking at if you're building agents that need browser access beyond your development machine.
5. Bright Data MCP
https://github.com/brightdata/brightdata-mcp
Why I picked it: Some websites are much harder to scrape than others. Bright Data provides tools designed for discovering, accessing and extracting web data.
How I use it: More demanding research and data extraction tasks where ordinary page fetching isn't enough.
